Working at Day One

By working at Day One you will be helping to deliver compassionate and professional support to people living with the life changing effect of a major traumatic injury.

Having achieved status as a registered charity early in 2021, we are keen to employ exceptional people to join our team and help us achieve our ambitions to offer our holistic model of support to all patients admitted to a Major Trauma Centre across England.

We believe that our employees should be highly skilled and share the values and ethos of our organisation, principally to deliver care which is patient-led, collaborative and above all caring. In particular, we welcome people with lived experience of major trauma or a life changing event.

You will also be a confident ambassador for our work, ready to capitalise on any opportunities to engage service users, build relationships with influencers in allied health services and attract financial and other support for our work. In return, you will get the opportunity to grow and develop with the organisation and be part of our exciting transformation towards having a national presence.
