Why 75 Miles in July?

75 miles is the distance between Leeds Major Trauma Centre and Aintree Major Trauma Centre, where we will be delivering Day One services from July 2021.

Aintree Major Trauma Centre takes patients from across Cheshire and Merseyside. We can't wait to join our NHS colleagues on the Ward.

Your fundraising will help provide people with the support they need in the aftermath of major trauma: legal, financial, practical and emotional.

75 Miles in July will help us roll out to new Major Trauma Centres and support more patients and their loved ones.

Changing Lives

could help pay for specialist training for our peer support volunteers; people who have experienced trauma and provide emotional and practical support to others

could help people to get financial advice they need to manage their finances when they can’t return to work

could help pay for six counselling sessions for someone after a major accident, helping them to process what has happened to them and come to terms with their injuries

could pay for emergency accommodation for three families to be close to their loved ones in the immediate aftermath of a traumatic incident
