A Leeds-based company that supports people with their rehabilitation following a personal injury has pledged to raise vital funds for Day One Trauma Support throughout 2023.
The team at Enable Therapy Services (ETS) will fundraise for the charity as part of celebrations to mark 15 years as an independent rehabilitation and vocational case management company. Many of the people ETS support have had life-changing injuries and are treated at Major Trauma Centres, including Leeds General Infirmary, where Day One was founded and continues to support patients and families on the ward.
To kick-start their year of support, ETS is hosting a night of entertainment at The Engine Shed, in Wetherby, on Friday 3 February. Comedy will be provided by Peter Kay tribute act Lee Lard, followed by live music from Rule the Waves.
A limited number of tickets, costing £30, are still available by contacting Sophie Wall via sophie.wall@enabletherapyservices.co.uk or on 0113 273 3638.
"We have high praise for the team at Day One and have seen the incredible work they do first-hand through our work in Leeds. Day One is ambitious for the future and we support their aim to be there for anyone who has experienced a life-changing injury. The team at Day One are outstanding, caring, knowledgeable and practical in the support they provide and are making a real difference. We believe every person should have access to Day One Trauma Support and this is the reason we will be one of their biggest champions, cheerleaders and supporters.”
“We’re delighted Enable Therapy Services has joined Day One as a corporate partner. As a charity that receives no Government or NHS funding, we depend on the generosity of individuals and companies that share our vision that no one should be left to rebuild their life on their own following a catastrophic injury. We look forward to working with the fabulous team at Enable Therapy Services and supporting them with their fundraising activities this year.
