Brian's Story
Brian, 75, was knocked off his bike by a HGV in 2021. He was airlifted to hospital where surgeons amputated his left leg, which had been crushed by the lorry.
Brian just wanted to get on with his life, but he found that legal proceedings were dragging. He had gone with a local solicitor recommended by his family, but was finding it difficult to communicate with them and he wasn’t getting the information he needed. When the solicitor failed to provide Brian with some vital information by a given date, he decided to move to one of the firms on Day One’s legal panel.
